The schools

The first and second level courses of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, are divided into two departments: the Department of Visual Arts (Painting, Sculpture, Decoration and Graphic Art) and the Department of Design and Applied Arts (Scenography, Art and New Technologies). The aim is to ensure an adequate mastery of artistic methods and techniques. Today more than ever, the Academy values the pluralism of languages and innovations that characterize the contemporary world. For this reason it offers the students an advanced level of teaching, that allows them to develop their own research in line with the educational content and the purposes of each course.
